I watched football & enjoyed many meals at this sports bar... Everything is delicious. Last time I got a *ginormous BBQbacon double meat, double cheese burger... so good!
The menu is so diverse that this is the only place in the area that my fellow cast mates can agree on after a show. ChiliBacon cheeseburgers AND gluten freevegan stuff. Fun vibe w/ a lot of history.
$14 is just crazy for a hot dog. Across the street at The Irish Coffee House Bistro I get a free beer or wine with $6.95 of food purchase. Got a Panini Platter with free Beer for $7.95. Sorry Barney
Highly recommend "Johnnie's Favorite" pizza! And sitting at the bar. Its a true hangout, though as an out of towner, you might feel left out since everyone there seems to know each other.
This place is great, you get exactly what you pay for, beer, sports, games, fries. If you want to go somewhere chill without all the LA fuss, this might be your spot.

1950s–60s—La Cienega Bl was the nexus of art galleries in L.A., and Barney's was a local artist hangout. Ed Kienholz created a large-scale installation, ‘The Beanery,’ in homage to Barney’s in 1965. Read more
Best French onion soup anywhere. This is coming from someone who hates f.o. soup. Don't forget your old license plate for a free full size bowl of chili! Best there is!
Take your best photos at Barney's Beanery between 5/7 and 5/21, tag them to a Barney's venue via foursquare or Instagram, and you could win AWESOME prizes!
This was a favorite hangout of The Doors in the '60s. Bet you can find at least two references or pics of The Doors. Take a pic & upload them to our foursquare page. foursquare.com/thedoors.
Order the pickle chips. Kind of hidden in the depths of the menu but soooo delicious if you're into fried pickles. Oh! And trivia nights are Tuesdays at 9pm. Great crowd, great questions and great pri
