If you have to wait for a table, it's worth it. The squid ink croquettes were incredible (we'll get two portions next time), as were the octopus bombs and pork trotters casserole.
Everything we ordered was fabulous. Love the egg with Catalan sausage. Baby squid with chickpeas is out of this world! Crispy beef with fois gras, as good as all the other comments. Both thumbs up!
Authentic small tapas place in el Born near the Picasso museum. Recommend: Eggplant with honey and lime, tomato bread, tuna tartare, shrimp ceviche. Croquette just ok, out of scallops and bacon
Slow cooked beef cheek with pickleshallots was my fav! Beef was so tender it melted in my mouth and instantly made me smile! Also liked the oxtail with foi gras; hamcroquettes; and egg with sausage.
Make sure to have a reservation, my favorite restaurant in BCN - Best Quality / price ratio you could think about! Try the Tartare de Atun or Fois Gras with Mango... magic!
Love this place but felt a bit ripped off the last time I went there. The waiter told us about the daily specials and we went for a (small) plate of garlic mushrooms. They changed 18,50€ for it!
The place to go when you want to sit at the bar enjoying the best of Catalan cooking. Even larger groups of people, have tables at the back. Tremendous food. One of the best tapas places in El born
