A stunning Michelin-star meal - New Nordicelevated and done incredibly well. The space is dark and Brooklyn and minimal and perfect. The cellar downstairs is perfect for a more casual drink.
A new mecca for Scandinavian food in NYC. The standout was a dish of sunchoke cream dusted with the charred remains of a braised lamb heart (sounds weird but works). All the sauces were excellent.
Really interesting space. Arrive early for a cocktail in the courtyard. The tasting menus are very original and delicious. Really unique ingredients and preparation.
a beautiful space - inside and out (be sure to check out the courtyard). do the pairing, but make sure to start with a Tree of Life martini (gin, vermouth, Brennivín)
Backyardcocktails and a la carts snacks when the weathers nice transports you to another place. The lettuce with hake was phenomenal. Must return for the full experience
Newsweek '19 Top 9 BK Places: Nordic cuisine, Michelin-star-rated incorporates local ingredients in 12-course tasting menu - a elegant, flavorful journey through Northern Europe
Got the 19 course tasting, each was unique, but flavor notes weaved throughout led to a cohesive, complex experience. Typical New Nordic style and construction, but Aska brought it to next level.
The bi-level space, a restored 1860s warehouse and garden, gives the 37-year-old Berselius a chance to prove to New York that he deserves to be taken as seriously as the city's best chefs.”★★★★
Definitely worth the hype. Impeccable service, great atmosphere and, of course, the food is amazing, especially the oyster dish and the birch ice cream
Beautiful restaurant. The kitchen is just fascinating to look at while they work. The courses get better moving forward. But it was slow! 4h30min. We would have liked it to be faster between courses!
