Downstairs section. Great beer selection & knowledgeable bartender. Do not dare order a Miller Lite. Beer is kinda expensive but its about quality. Cool bathroomart. Beer menu differ from upstairs
Recognized as one of the best beer bars in the world, they tap over 1,000 different beers a year. Be sure to check out the unique & charming ambiance of the Belgian Bar in the basement.
My favorite of the many establishments we visited on our trip to Asheville. The Fat TirePretzel Bites were delicious as were several of the drafts we tried. Thumbs up!
Go to the downstairs bar for sure...ask for Melissa. She's wicked nice and super knowledgable on their Belgians. Great spot to hang with friends and enjoy a great brew!
There's not a lot of table service. Your best bet is to walk up to the bar and place your order. All of the staff are actually very friendly, just busy!
We got the local flight thinking we could make our own sample combo- false. Blueberry and Highland Gaelic are yummy, but the others are sub par. I'd say grab a friend and order full beers to share.
Disclaimer; I'm visiting from out of town, so I'm not a local. Downstairs: the bartenders are knowledgeable, but not very personable. Seating is awkward at bar (uncomfortable) and tables (too small).
Pizza was great, lots of good toppings. I got ground beef, mushrooms and avocados. Fries were okay, but not great. Good beer selection according to my beer drinking companions.
I used to love this place...but food took over an hour, was cold, and they have no wait staff/bartenders for a busy Saturday, menu is not as good as used to be. Only good for beer now.
