Make reservations if you want the scenic view table. Absolute magic. The food is the best I've had in Rio. Part of the fun is getting there with the steep hills! Good for romantic night or groups.
Get the heart of palm and ceviche! For drinks a pitcher of white sangria is a must. Don't forget to ask for a seat with a view. The restaurant is like a tree house with so many levels!
The views and ambiance make the food taste even better than it already does. Have the grilled heart of palm (right from the palm) it will change the way you look at hearts of palm forever!
Amazing view over Rio. Very nice food (I had the scallops, later on Dorade) and very helpfull waiters. Visited several restaurants while in Rio, this one being the very best! Absolutely recommend it!
fresh grilled hearts of palm is my new favorite food, omg. then get deep on ceviche and catch of the day. then maybe one more hearts of palm for dessert
The view alone make this restaurant a top choice. Add the unique atmosphere of a tropical treehouse and a Brazilian menu and you have one of our favorite restaurants.
The view and the food are amazing here. The heart of Palm for appetizer is a must. Ice cream dessert is so authentic and fresh. The whole place is amazing!! So cozy!!
Stunning views of Rio, rustic decor, fabulous service, and spectacular food. The prices are quite steep by Brazilian standards, but for any tourist it's an absolute must.
Beautiful venue, beautiful view and good food. But a bit expensive and the way up there to Santa Teresa, or back down to the city again, can be an issue for a taxi. Anyway, it's all worth it!
Nice spot if you’re in the area. Highly recommend skipping the main courses which were somewhat underwhelming and go for appetizers, starters, and desserts instead! All great! Cocktails hit or miss…
Be sure to save room for the desserts, such as the steamed guava cooked in passion fruit sauce and the carimbó, Brazil nutice cream served with cupuaçú jelly. (follow link for our full review) Read more
Big range of biodynamic and natural Brazilian wines. All from small producers and unfamiliar, but luckily knowledgeable and enthusiastic English-speaking sommelier on hand for help.
If you're going to get a bread basket, go all in: get the cheesy breads with the sausages. They are warm and moist cheesy bread balls stuffed with mini sausages. Really good.
You'll pay for the view here, but the cuisine is good too, espeically the baiao de dois for dessert. A little tricky to find in Santa Teresa, so bring a map if you plan on walking it!
An unassuming doorway leads you down a staircase into this epicurean tree house in the hills of Santa Teresa. Come with a group — the bigger tables have the better views of Rio below.
The food is epic with great scenery as the restaurant is at in a treehouse. Service is very slow though and hard to get to. Make sure you cab. Steak was very rare and its house pale ale is quite good
Food is good but the environment is the best thing here. Try to be there for the Sunset and make a reservation on the porch, where you can have a nice view of the city!
The food was delicious and the views amazing, but the service was subpar. It took them 20 minutes to even ask us if we wanted water after we were seated. Also, the waiter never checked on us
At Aprazivel, food becomes an art! The restaurant offers Brazilian food, but with a refined elegance! All this, in a lovely country home surrounded by an exuberant tropical forest! Read more
