One of the cosiest pubs around! Sunday Roast is great, the menu changes frequently and you have the canal right there - in summer people take over the whole area around the bridge. Very unique gem.
Fantastic Sunday menu. I had the pie sign a side of mash which was awesome. Roast also good. Great location, pretty view, but super busy on a Sunday would suggest book ahead. Service only ok.
Order at the bar and they will bring your food to you. Limited seating outdoors. Sunday roasts are good, also the cod&chips. As a lighter option, I would recommend the quinoa, kale, avocado salad.
Great staff, very friendly and professional, yesterday we had Sunday Roast and was delicious, customer service 10 out of 10. Place very well managed as every pub should be, this guy is really top.
£6 squash soup came cold w/out the advertised roasted chestnuts and sourdough (and I had to ask). We also asked to get dishes at the same time given NYE family dinner situation - ended up eating in 2s
The Narrowboat has upped its game, the quality of the menu is now more in keeping with the gastropub prices - sophisticated food, well presented, generous portions - well done!
Lovely gastropub overlooking Regents Canal in Angel, so perfect for a sunny day. Recommend the mussels & avocado/feta/hazelnut salad with a bottle of prosecco. Food (8.5/10), Service (7/10), Value (8/ Read more
Only good for the view&location on the canal. Anything else is totally forgettable: the service, the food, the drinks, the coffee..£14.5 for a half-cold and not even tasty Veggie roast😟
The atmosphere is lovely. The food is bad. I ordered a salad with blue cheese dressing and it was legitimately just mayonnaise....considering it was one of the few veggie options. It's nearly inedible
A beautifully chilled out place that serves great food. Service is super friendly and striking that peculiar balance of being laid-back yet efficient. A perfect destination...
Lovely location, was a regular here for years but have decided to stop going as the prices have climbed while food has become generic - nearly £20 for a very basic pub main course...
We had the DNA ale, which was hoppy but still nice. The view outside and the environment inside were great. However, the pint cost £5.04 - what's with the 4p?
