Dmytro BorysovJuly 24, 2016The airport by himself is awesome. Clean and modern, with free wifi and comfortable sits and chargers near gates. But the food is really week point. High prices and low choice.
Taxi to the city: use Uber (global) or Uklon (Ukrainian app.) Either way, ask them to pick you up from top floor, departures - arrivals have metal fence which prohibits entry to private transport.
Just in case you need faster internet near gate 4,5,6: pass for business lounge network is 'internet'
Do not order official airport taxi. These guys are morons and will trick with counter. Instead, use uklon.com.ua from mobile. Cheap and Kiev loved taxi aggregator. Have a nice trip ;)

Zina PApril 20, 2019Lot if space, clean airport. KBP has good ventilation system, enough place for the rest and waiting after duty free. In rush hours could be a problem to find free table in restaurants near gates
Recently modernized, user friendly airport. It is still evolving, the duty free outlets have been expanded & additional cafes opened. Quick easy departures/arrivals.

But when do you start providing proper restaurant food and shops beyond alcohol, tobacco and fragrances?- The biggest and best airport in the whole of Ukraine, very modern and great brands to offer

Main city airport, it is pretty big. Really far from the city, but easy to get by train from railway station or by bus. Prices are higher than could be and be ready to pay a lot for a meal near gate

Lots of taxi hawks, like at every post-Soviet airport. Take the SkyBus instead to the metro or call a cab.

Border control officers never been friendly for years flying through KBP. Never even hello. In general it's pretty clean and modern, lines are well maintained, but tend to happen frequently.

Un-fucking-believable. Domestic flights area has no cafe, vending machine or at least some place to buy a drink or piece of food. One water cooler for 4 domestic flight.
Places for kids are super. But it's impossible to buy diapers anywhere

Internet connection drops every 2 minutes. Very irritating.

Well-organised and quite specious; quick security and border controls, wifi available .
Airport is clean a comfy, but shame duty free has very limited offer of Ukrainian souvenirs and products.
People passing security check with full bottles of water(?). Really safe airport 😒
Ali DaylanAugust 21, 2015In good shape... If you want to exchange UAH at the departure hall, you need to provide a check which displays where you got the local cash from. Otherwise the cashiers do not even exchange $20.- Drinking water is the cheapest to buy in duty free (2€)
Everything is crazy expensive there. Buy souvenirs before get in the airport.
Atmosphere is really cold. Just 2 cafe and you may only pay cash... Do not forget to buy Nemirof vodka. Just 6€/lt
overall the airport is ok. staff is striving to be better. however, still some soviet-style attitude present. the biggest disappointment - roads and transportation - their planning is hideous

KATJune 19, 2016Small duty free, overpriced restaurants and super long queues at the security scan. Waiters in the restaurants dont bring change back, when bill payed.
Good wifi. Comfortable boarding. Too expensive food and drinks.
In case of domestic flight, just stay in the main hall for a while. There is nothing to do in domestic area.

In domestic departure only one small kiosk with food, wending machine and coffee machine.
Here's a picture of lost and found office. Luggage on the belt is a lost luggage left from the previous flight. And will stay there, according to the lady in lost and found office.
The airport lacks some good restaurants. Otherwise it’s pretty clean and convenient.
