Tristan: Coffee-wise, this place is tops in Central Square, and they get away with everything because of it. Their espresso is bitter so get a doppio macchiato instead, it'll bring out the intense flavor.

Tristan: They really love making (and talking about) coffee. It comes through in their espresso, which is hands-down the best in the entire Boston area.
Tristan: Drip coffee is ok; espresso is just Illy, but they don't make it right so get a milk drink. But this place is great for 1) totally awesome work/study atmosphere, and 2) breakfast sandwiches.

Tristan: Simons is still better for the whole metro area, but ThinkingCup is the best on their side of the river! Check out the old newspapers by the window, and try their pastries.
Tristan: This place is best for their dark chocolate, but they also pull the best shot of espresso in Harvard Square (unless you hike it to Simon's). Try both!
