- Steve JDecember 10, 2013Nice property but minimal benefits for Platinums: no free breakfast no lounge, impossible to get suite upgrade, expensive parking. But need to keep the SPG status alive! Superior Marriotts in the area
- Tom BuongervinoJune 20, 2011Great location. Short skip to the performing arts center. Love the heavenly shower and bed. The breakfast is a bit expensive and the menu is short.
- Marcus LaiFebruary 21, 2015Superb location close to a ton of stuff. You definitely won't go hungry! Hotel undergoing renovations
- decent gym- 4 treadmills, 3 elipticals, 2 bikes, up to 50# dumbbells, pull-up bar.
- Bashayer KhalidSeptember 19, 2015I was in the pacific suite and it was way above my expectation ! Comfy 'n pretty new furniture 👍🏼Upvoted Oct 18
- Dreamy beds and spacious clean rooms, what keeps bringing us back to this property
- Very nice Starwood property. Perfect location between so cal beaches (Newport, Dana point, Laguna) and hustle of Hollywood and LA. Would stay again.
- Great parking structure that's rarely full. Also has smooth pavement for great sounding burnouts!
- Make sure to check out the arts theather behind the hotel for some great classic and original plays!
- Michelle ChenJanuary 15, 2016Valet Parking rate too high$32, and charge wifi for $12. However the room was clean and and spacious with good view.
- The SPG Platinum breakfast option is severely lacking ("Grab-N-Go" collection of cold offerings). Take the 500 Starpoints instead!
- Falls pale compared to other westin properties. The air conditioning stopped working out of the blue. Writing this as I wait to be shown to a different room. Sigh!
- Best hotel staff I have ever met. Very friendly! Enjoying your stay is easy here.
- SairahMay 29, 2013We had a rude awakening by some men on a painting scaffolding. Room 327, not the best first Preferred Guest Experience. Beautiful hotel though.
- Park in the parking garage and if you leave before 8am, you won't be charged.
- You can order room service breakfast, but there's no seated breakfast. Very odd.
- Carlo OrozcoJuly 22, 2012Their cable signal is bad, pixelated/choppy channels... And unless you're a preferred guest, wifi Internet service is $12/day!
- If you're spending the night to escape a heat wave, pick another hotel. The A/C units in these ancient rooms completely SUCK.
- For the lady that said Brian was rude. No way. Not sure what you did but far from rude. Exceptional staff
