Delightful farm-to-table spot on trendy Bond St that is a lovely combination of cosy and rustic. Go on a midweek afternoon or a Sunday evening and snap the romantic table by the window.
Comfy neighborhood cafe by morning, quick lunch spot by afternoon, scene-y hangout at night. Fresh, well-cooked food that's healthier (and tastier) than many surrounding options.
The Harissa honey roasted chicken sandwich is super delicious, and is served on a warm, crusty on the outside and soft on the inside baguette. Get it (and don't forget the pickles).
The food is great paired with the $39 Granacha Cote du Rhone! For dessert try the sea salt chocolate chip cookie with a side of salted caramel ice cream and make your own ice cream sandy! Mmmm
Dinner is simply put: amazing! Carrot Soup, lamb meatballs and pasta are all very tasty. Service is great and their cookies and milk are off the charts!
The Bitches Say: A-. It was a pleasant surprise to brunch at a trendy locale at an affordable price. The food hit the spot, although the service was spotty. We left with all smiles! Read more
Persistence is key here, both in getting a table and your food. Once you do, it's worth it. Banana cardamom loaf is a treat; baked eggs with avo are light and have manchego, the world's best cheese.
This place is too adorable. Brunch drinks are tasty (mimosa, lemonade, & grapefruit are all good) and the food is appropriately portioned. Try the baked eggs with avocado! Only complaint is weak AC.
Went for the brunch and was delighted - such a cosy space! Got there at 10am and within minutes it was full. The scrambled eggs were perfect and if you have a sweet tooth get the pastry basket!
Go for the goat cheese. No insult to the cheese, but the immaculate crispysoft crustbread which accompanies it is the highlight. As for the cheese: perfectly proportioned with what tops it.
Went for brunch. Had a really long wait, but totally worth it. The food was great and inexpensive and I loved the rustic decor and overall feel of this place. Cozy neighborhood spot.
Lovely dinner! We made a meal out of the different vegetarian sides and apps, and it was filling, and delicious. Get the cauliflower shortbread, and the Haricots Verts!
Get the Baguette French Toast with real NY syrup for brunch. Lovely trendy cafe in a basement off Bond. By the famous building with the gold dancers on the facade.
Stay away from cocktails here; wine and beer are better. You can't go wrong with anything vegetable-centric - salads and daily crostini especially. Get a salted chocolate chip cookie for dessert!
Ideal for coffee or an afternoon bite but serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, this place is perfect for a date and has an incredible wine list if you want to switch up your daily scotch routine.
The place is super cozy! Kind of places that you go to with a friend you haven't seen in years and never stop talking! The staff are great. The scrambled eggs are average
Love the ambience of this charming (rustic chic) restaurant. Perfect for a date night or a group dinner. What to get: Garlic poached Atlantic Salmon, it's flaky and delicious!
Cozy intimate charming walk down restaurant with a great selection of healthy delicious fare. The Roasted Balsamic Chicken was amazing. I actually had two to satiate my appetite after SoulCycle NoHo.
The crazy-dense Peanut Butter and Jelly is The Smile's best cookie, filled with coarsely ground nuts, actual peanut butter, and pockets of sticky strawberry jam. Read more
Great lunch spot with lots of healthy options like the quinoa bowl with a poached egg and the steak salad. Also love the sea salt cookie for the table for dessert 🍪!
Great coffee, cute hipster staff & always a celebrity sighting. The granola is special. I sit by the window. Keep my table open. - Marc Sinoway, Hunting Season
Nice waitstaff! Waitress let me try the alch before committing to it in a cocktail(forgot name). Had the goats cheese appetizers & hangar steak w/ mash-sweet potatoes w/ thyme- delicious! Recommend!
Beautiful place, friendly staff that seated us with the disclaimer that it could be a squeeze. It was great! Salads, sandwiches, biscuits, cappuccinos all got rave reviews, without breaking the bank.
I came here for a sandwich, which was great (egg with salmon on multigrain), but that coffee...probably one of the best brewed coffees I've had in the area...sorry La Colombe.
Great spot. Started with the marinated goat cheese and the lamb meatballs - both were amazing. We also had the balsamic chicken and the brisket. Dishes are basic but delicious. try the hibiscus marg
Tucked away in NoHo, this cute spot offers a light atmosphere with small lunches that do well for an intimate setting, a small group or a general catch-up with an old friend.
Good low key basement restaurant. The staffs are helpful and attentive. The food is delicious the balsamic chicken has great flavor and seasoned well and balanced.
Tasting Table Choc Chip Cookie List: "A little sea salt goes a long way at this Noho café. Melia Marden puts a little crunch in each bite, nicely accentuating the slightly bitter chocolate chunks"
The coziest of atmospheres is the perfect place to sup, and sip. Brunch on sweet potato biscuits and frothed-up mochas; share sandwiches (harissa honey chicken, truffle oil fig cheese) for dinner.
Steak & eggs was amazing: roast exactly how my grandma makes it, and the sweet potato hash is fantastic. Also loved the thick cut bacon. This is one of my new favorite places.
"I always appreciate that The Smile has a solid dessert selection, but I always find myself opting for the chocolate chip & sea salt cookies" - Audrey Gingras, founder - Archetype Showroom Read more
Delicious food and a great environment. The tomato salad and roasted potatoes are great. Get small plates and call it an evening. Also, mezcal float 4eva 👌
Go for the people watching, simple & healthy dishes, and ambiance. Mint sugar snap peas and balsamic roast chicken are my favorites. Coffee and pastries (from Balthazar?) are also great!
It was a very nice place and the food was delicious. Felt a bit rushed at the end even though the place was some what empty and nobody was waiting for a table.
I don't get the hype about the harissa chicken sandwich - it's very small and by default comes with potato chips so the plate is bland. If you're hungry I recommend the steak and 🍳 or the quinoa bowl
The bacon is the most delicious bacon I've ever had. The servers are also really friendly, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Highly recommended for breakfast!!
The atmosphere was lovely. Everything on the menu looked pretty unique. I got the steak and roasted grape arugula salad. It was sweet, savory and just all around delicious. A fantastic date location.
A cozy, subterranean café on picturesque Bond Street in Downtown Manhattan. Located in a landmark 1830s Federal-style townhouse, the café is firmly rooted in the local community and serves as a clubhouse of sorts serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
