Not a new restaurant, Blue Room makes our list thanks to a reinvention of the bar last winter by Matthew Schrage. Now continued by Blue Room's team, the the program is centered around Italian amari.
The spicy shrimp, potato wedges, and pie-of-choice are a must. Not sure they could make bad food if they tried. The only tough decision is whether to get two pies or a pie floater.
