The HPH burger is sooo tasty (either beef or veggie ar good). Ask for some homemade ketcup for your fries. They also make some pretty decent old fashionned :) love this place!
Menu limited between lunch & dinner (we ate @ 3pm). Choices were burger, fish & chips or appetizers. Burger was delicious, slightly pink & juicy (perfect for me, but be warned if you prefer well done.
The scotch egg! Vintage plates are charming. Don't order fish&chips-- breading is the thick doughy kind. Good food but portions too small and prices too steep to warrant being the local "public house"
The HPH is where everyone feels welcome to enjoy quality micro brews, wine & traditional pub fare/comfort food made from scratch using fresh local ingredients.
