Dom CollettAugust 21, 2010The book club gets very busy on Sat nights. After 9 you have to pay £5 entry. Plus you can't reserve tables for parties. Get there early.

Ping pong's tournament on Tuesdays is great but very high level. Pool downstairs and good music. They love the kings of Leon.

Don't dress smartly - e.g. suit/tie as I saw lots of bankers etc. refused entry on Fri/Sat. Very "Shoreditch", but good food and atmosphere.
You need to be chilled out BEFORE you come here. Laid back, slow and dippy service needs a chilled outlook. If you're in a rush, skip this place. If you're killing time, lean back and enjoy.
