Ale

Berlines Weisse

Light body, refreshing, slightly fruity, sour, low influence of hop, (Bruery Hottenroth, dog fish head Festina Peche, 1809 Berlinerweisesse )

American Wheat

Usually clear in contrast to most other wheat beers, slightly tart, very refreshing, (Widmer Hefe, southern tier hop sun)

Dunkelweizen

Lambic/Guze

American Pale Ale

Imperial IPA

Also called double IPA's, these high alcohol beers are balance by intense hop character & full body, no aged characters, but instead should be fresh & bright. (dog fish head 90 minutes, stone ruination, great divide Hercules IPA)

English Pale

Golden to amber color & dominated by malt flavor, very little hop bitterness or aroma in this low alcohol ale. (Firestone walker DBA)

Scottish Ale

Schwarz-Bier

Helles Bock

Doppel Bock

Eisbock
