- David GrahamMay 3, 2013Wins hands down purely on its quirkiness. Former public toilet transformed into a wonderful little cafe. Settle into an old urinal with a well made coffee (from Caravan) or sit outside & ring the bell
- Serdar PaktinMarch 15, 2018This extraordinary spot is like a hidden gem. It has great coffees and it used to be a victorian era public urinal. It’s a great toilette to spend time and have a cup of coffee in.
- Place is open again, and now they don’t take cash anymore —but the coffee and food are still amazing! Incredible flat white and filter coffee, and staff are just so chatty and welcoming!
- Sam HMarch 31, 2015This place is so unique - and so much more than just a gimmick. Delicious (and potent) mocha and I recommend the peanut butter brownie. A perfect pit stop in Fitzrovia.
- Douglas MaitlandMarch 11, 2016A Victorian toilet converted into a coffee shop. Very cool indeed. Bigger and quieter than you might expect. Great spot to work. The hot chocolate and chai lattes are epic!
- Chris HainesAugust 8, 2014Possibly one of the coolest coffee places in London, the Attendant takes on a traditional feel with the decor being orignal idea of a Victorian toilet. They do amazing coffee and to die for brownies!
- JoshuaJanuary 25, 2016A must stop for all the coffee lovers. A good menu, but espresso machine only. It is the speak-easy of coffee shops, and just a lovely setting
- DanisJuly 4, 2015The best coffee I had in a toilet. ;) Great atmosphere, the espresso nice and citrusy with a bit of nuttiness. The salt caramel brownie made my day. 9/10
- A small and quiet underground cafe renovated from an old Victorian toilet. The sweet brunch items have always been great.
- V HMay 12, 2015Charming little place hidden away in Fitzrovia. Loved the interior, staff was very friendly, coffee one of the better. Shame that they have a minimum spend on debit cards.
- ChrisAugust 31, 2014Probably one of the quirkiest coffee stops in London, a must visit. Can get quite tight down there, but great coffee and food. Just be warned if you're going on a summer's day - it gets really hot!
- Liis SaarMarch 30, 2016Cosy and good vibes. Fine-looking sandwiches as well as healthier salad options for lunch and gorgeous cakes to feed the sweet-tooth. Very unique and quirky - def. Check it out!
- F~May 13, 2017Yummy French toast and the coffee is just perfect.. but very small place and busy all the time
- Bruno BelcastroDecember 17, 2016Great place, used to be an old Victorian Public Toilet in the 1800s. Their Drip Coffee is 👌🏼
- Stephen DSeptember 19, 2017Good coffee and the location is of course unique, but the location/layout means the seats are quite cramped
- Their sandwiches and brownies are delicious, if slightly pricey. Coffee's good too. It's fun that this used to be a toilet, but as a space to sit down is a bit claustrophobic
- shaunaAugust 21, 2013Victorian public toilet turn coffee shop. An amazing soundtrack and friendliest of staff. They serve organic milk and soya is also available. Only about a 15 minute walk to Regent's Park or Oxford St.
- Dominic SmithDecember 20, 2015The smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and maple bacon is superb. Great flat white too.
- Yuki MacOctober 6, 2013Really fantastic soy latte. One of the best coffee in London. Even compared to wellington coffee, this provides us with superb coffee.
- Andrea TJuly 4, 2015DELICIOUS (with capitals) coffee, salt caramel brownie to die for and a unique idea (eating/drinking in the toilet?!) #crazylondon Absolutely love it!
- Mariam JensenJune 8, 2018Great coffee (they roast their own beans), lovely breaky, and cool Victorian loos.
- Mada 🐎🎾 🏊🏻♀️☕️September 12, 2023Overall is good. There are not many seats so it may need to queue a little bit.Friendly service as well, if you wanna have special experience, you can visit here.
- Andrew FurmanJune 26, 2018this public bathroom from the victorian era (1800s) has now turned into a coffee shop. Definitely one of the highlights to my trip to London.
- Brennan NovakSeptember 25, 2013The most unique location for a cafe I've ever seen- in an underground Victorian public bathroom. Really quaint decoration and excellent food + coffee
- M.T 🌟1 week agoThe matcha had a lot of clumps unfortunately but their coffee was great and their breakfast was so delicious! 9.5/10
- Oliver ShreeveAugust 6, 2014There were 4 types of brownie when I last went: salted caramel, marshmallow, cookie dough, peanut butter & Oreo! (I thought that might convince you of the coffee and location didn't)
- Neringa DaAugust 16, 2014A legendary coffee place worth visiting both for Caravan coffee and for the atmosphere you certainly won't expect seeing in a coffee shop.
- AdleyAugust 27, 2018Very cool coffee spot under the street level. Good coffee and cakes. Only the staff is not very friendly...
- Best iced latte I've ever had! Tasty brunch, vegan protein balls and normal people cake options too.
- Legi TintinJanuary 24, 2015Interesting place, friendly Staff, good service; excellent espresso and tasty brownies ( mini and normal portions available)
- RoyFebruary 23, 2015There are plenty of great coffee options in the area, but this one is of the best. And what a brilliant setting!
- James DarlingtonFebruary 12, 2017A little pricey but relative for the area. Quirky little bonus being situated in the old underground urinal. Worth the stop!
- Martin JarčíkNovember 1, 2014This is a pearl among London's coffee spots. Top quality, top taste, top service, unique atmosphere.
- Shazwan AdrinSeptember 18, 2015Cute little place and is underground. The mocha is good and the dishes that changes everytime. Worth to go.
- Alex RendallJuly 16, 2013Really good coffee and fascinating place. Order it to takeaway on hot days though - there's no air conditioning and it gets VERY hot!
- Perfectly acceptable filter coffee, a rare find for London.
- Have a flat white on the Victorian porcelain urinals. Coffee beans are from Caravan, free Wifi included.
- Eamonn CareyMay 4, 2013Try the brunch at the weekend. Also have a flat white. You can thank me later. ;)
- Michal ŠváchaOctober 11, 2015Awesome place! I keep coming back ever since an article was posted about its opening. True one-of-a-kind.
- Thomas WrobelJune 4, 2013Great place. Located in an old victorian toilet. If you're near the place, go there. Not easy to find as it is downstairs.
- New York HabitatApril 2, 2014Originally a Victorian toilet, this cute coffee shop has been creatively restored and offers delicious milk coffee.
- Get the fried corn flapjacks for weekend brunch. So delicious
- Taylor MollApril 24, 2017Excellent coffee and amazing brownies. Plus the atmosphere is hilariously amazing.
