- Shalom JosephMarch 16, 2017The wait can feel ridiculous, but it was worth it. Had the trust me menu 👌🏾
- Everything is fantastic! Wish they would open another location in NY.
- Benjamin KintnerApril 18, 2023Supremely overrated. The rice just sucks. Inconsistently over and undercooked during the same meal. Service is crap. They’ll throw a new dish of sushi on your table and leave the last plate there.
- Sam GilOctober 7, 2018Tuna was the highlight, just melts in your mouth. Tough to avoid a really long wait though.
- Hien LySeptember 7, 2019The rice fell apart. Fish was over-seasoned. Disappointing after always enjoying the LA location.
- Ran YanOctober 29, 2022The fish was fresh, but the sushi rice was terrible - the rice disintegrated upon touching the soy sauce. The texture of the rice was way off. I hadn’t had sushi rice that bad… ugh 😑
- ginnnnnnny 🦀April 12, 2018It’s sister restaurant, KazuNori on 28th and Broadway, tastes better and doesn’t have a long waiting line...
- Dan PerlmanJune 23, 2017Good, solid sushi, a bit expensive for what it is, and certainly not living up to the hype. There are better places, there are worse.
- Marc CohenJanuary 27, 2017The quality of the sushi is probably the best in the city for the price ("trust me" option is 39.0, very filling and very clean/fresh fish). Main negative is the wait, 2-3 hrs at peak times.
- Anwar AlayoubAugust 28, 2017Full house with 2.5 hours waiting, must be good but didn't have the chance to try it
- Jesse TaoDecember 27, 2016Not amazing and some pieces weren't even that fresh. The sweet shrimp and bay scallops had a nice yuzu and shiso sauce brushed on it, which was good
- Mel QApril 9, 2017They don't accept reservations and when you go there they have a 3 hour wait. Ridiculous!
- TomNovember 26, 2016Not the best sushi in NYC but it's a great value. Similar to their locations in LA, menu is simple, sushi is delicious, service is great, and it's relatively affordable. Price includes gratuity.
- Kinjil MathurNovember 21, 2016The only vegetarian options are warm rice, a cucumber roll and edamame. Plan accordingly, fellow veggies.
- Brian LumNovember 25, 2016Ambiance, service, decor all quite lovely. Fish though, was not nearly as fresh as what you get at the Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica locations. Not sure i'd wait the two hours again.
