Say no to puppies from puppy mills! Steve's has also gotten into trouble for dying chicks Easter colors and other unhealthy/abusive animal practices. I am never giving them my money!

We purchased a puppy from this store over the phone with the understanding that it was an AKC registerable dog. This was not correct and we were told not their problem.

Be sure to check behind the store where you can see their "Ethical breeders" that apparently are ok sending their dogs in semi trucks stacked 3 cages high. That's what I saw last time I was there.

As cute as the puppies were, they were extremely overpriced and it killed me to see them stuck in those small cages. I'd rather go give a poor dog or cat at a shelter a home.
