I was reading the past tips and was surprised at the negative ones. I travel to Texas City every week on and off since 2012 and stay here often. I have always had good service and enjoyed my stays.- Ice machines are found on the 1st and 4th floors. Soft drink vending machines are on the 2nd and 3rd. All are next to the elevator in the center of the hotel.

Brent SheltonMarch 29, 2016Clean rooms. Bad taxi service n Galveston. Something to consider if you stay away from the port for a cruise. I waited over an hour for a taxi to the port. This was after scheduling in advance.

Dont come here. Service sucks. Had to be moved from one room to another because we werent getting air. Seriously, save your money and get a hotel on the seawall.
