Swedish candy is the best! they especially know their gummies and black (esp. salted) licorice. the variety of sour cola candy is my favorite. mix & match - pay by weight. such a fun treat! 🍬
If you are Swedish or have ever been to Sweden THIS is the closest you will ever get to the candy they have there... Brings me back, please try it out it is amazing!
Called “Sweet & Swedish,” Sockerbit, which is also a kind of marshmallow, specializes in Scandinavian candy, making it quite a gem among New York City’s culinary locales. Read more
The candies here are different from ordinary bulk bin candies! My favorites here are the marshmallows, especially the banana ones! There is a $5 credit card minimum.
Top shelf sweets, a cut above your so-so shoppes like Dylan's Candy Shop and FAO Schwarz. The Swedes love their candy. I go for the soft caramel ELEFANTSKUMFöTTER.
My new favorite candy shop. Great selection of candy that's not easy to come by. The shop is very sleek & cool & the workers were so nice & pleasant. To top it off, they close later than most.
the swedes understand gummies better than we do. go, overstuff your bag, leave happy. (& p.s: you like black licorice more than you think you do. trust.)
Love this place... a lil on the pricy side but if u are good about not eating all ur goodies in one sitting, its worth it!!! better than american gummies
My all-time favorite spot in NYC is Sockerbit Candy. The owners are a husband/wife duo who are both just as sweet as the selection that they sell in their shop http://bit.ly/Qs9nFK -Style & Pepper
Marshmallows are sooo delish. Lots of gummy candy. Love this place. Has become my fav candy store. And staff is so friendly. Always greet you with a smile.
Amazing, varied, unusual selection, including candies foreign to the American palette (salted licorice?), but worth a try. Put together a sample pack for yourself!
