The shows are very entertaining. Don't waste your time on the Manta if the line's long, Journey to Atlantis is pretty fun, and also, BRING FAST FOOD. The food is SO overpriced. 6.99 for 4 fried shrimp
SeaWorld was founded in 1964 on 22 acres by four graduates of UCLA. Their original idea was to build an underwater restaurant. The park grew into a marine park now spanning 189 acres.
You can watch the fireworks from anywhere around Crown Point Shores or SailBay, an added bonus (and a built-in clock) to all the residents who live there.
Keep your eye open for the sea world characters (shamu, o.p. other, etc.). And remember they can sign autographs and you can take your own photos. Or just come up for a hug.
Awesome place to visit in the tourist low season. We saw nearly every show and exhibit at our own (relaxed) pace with our 5 y.o. nephew and we did it all in around 5 hours. Plus, the free annual pass
Pack a lunch and leave it in the car. You are allowed to leave the park and re-enter with a stamp. This will save some money on paying those crazy park prices.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, & a hat. Buy a SeaWorld cup get discounts on refills. Members receive discounts on food, beverages, & @ gift shops.
Also, they are very un accommodating to the customers needs. No one wants to wait in a mile line for a marginal hot dog. They need to open more windows in order to get more customers!
