Came here 2x for dinner during our 5 day stay in Sanibel! Blackened salmon is so good! When we visited, they had a salmonpicatta special w/ mushroom risotto that was amazing. Service was on point!
Highly recommended for crab bisque, Boom Boom Shrimp, Oysters. The CoconutScallops are good if you like a very sweet sauce w/ your scallops. Crab stuffed shrimp was uninspired. Very friendly staff.
This is a charming little restaurant off the beaten path on Sanibel. I came here for the oysters and was not disappointed. (Note: Happy hour only extends to customers at the bar and high-top tables.)
I really wanted to like this place. I try to keep local businesses on top of my list. I had coconut shrimp. It was covered in white chocolate and raspberry sauce. Did not work.
Better to be eating the MacadamiaGrouper than having a 30 minute wait in the lounge. The Sandbar takes reservations for parties of 1 to 70. (239) 472-0305
Excellent service by our female server - issues over wine - didn't want to exchange (customer always wrong) from condescending manager. Worst acoustics ever. Too many hard surfaces. Food okay.
Since opening on January 9, 2013, The Sandbar has quickly become known for its incredibly fresh seafood and quite possibly the best steaks on the islands.
