The 2010 growing season for the Napa Valley was long & mild. The winter was dry, followed by a cool spring. The foggy summer months led to early Fall rains. The resulting harvest was relatively small but of high quality fruit w/ concentrated color & flavors.

This Chardonnay is sourced from some of the winemaker's favorite vineyards. Long warm days give rich flavors & cool nights preserve acidity & give a wonderful balance. 70% of the lots are aged in stainless steel to preserve the lush fruit characteristics. 30% is barrel aged sur lies for 8 months, imparting rich, intense aromas, flavor complexity & creamy texture. Pair w/ crab cakes or smoked salmon appetizers; pasta dishes w/ cream sauces & herb-roasted chicken. It also complements your favorite cheese platter, especially Brie, Taleggio & Comte.

Our‎ winemaking team selected a limited quantity of estate grapes to make this inaugural rose blend. In a classic rose style, this wine is dry, delicately fruity, & refreshing. Fresh aromas of violets & berries, w/ luscious flavors of blueberry, raspberry & subtle spice. This wine is an ideal aperitif but also versatile & will complement salads & a variety of entrees.

2011 Cabernet Sauvignon

A full-bodied vintage port-style wine, layered w/ bright cherry candy flavors coupled w/ fresh cranberries & raspberries & menthol notes w/ a bold, warm, seductive finish.

Grapevine clones are selected for their distinctive taste characteristics as well as resistance to disease. Clones from our Arroyo Seco vineyards tend towards a rich fruitiness: Clone 777 w/ black & red cherries, hints of almond, violets & pepper; & Clone 115 w/ floral aromatics & bright acidity. Clonal character combined w/ the unique soil & climate of the region give us a layered & complex wine.

100% Rutherford Appellation Estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon. Franklin Vineyard forms the northwest cornerstone of the Rutherford sub-appellation. I'ts Pleasanton series soil produces fruit characterized by earthy aromas & full flavors of black currant, anise & while pepper w/ ideal tannin structure for extended aging. Only 95 cases produced.

The 2008 vintage was one of extremes - a second dry year (the driest Spring in 30 years) ; an early bud break; widespread frosts in March & April; topped w/ a big heat spell in September. Overall, it was a very long growing season. The resulting harvest gave us low-yields of high quality, intense & complex fruit.

Dijon‎ Clones impart distinctive mineral characteristics w/ rich flavors of citrus, stone fruits, white peach, melon & other tropical notes. The 2010 Scott Family Estate Chardonnay has vibrant aromas of fresh pear, orange zest, mineral notes & vanilla w/ bright acidity & flavors of Meyer lemon, white peach & butterscotch, leading to a long, lingering finish. This finely balanced wine is food-friendly & versatile. Enjoy w/ a seafood salad, chicken w/ cashews or an omelet.

This wine is produced from outstanding lots of Napa Valley red varietals. It has a distinctive flavor profile crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon for delicious rich, ripe berry; Merlot for bright aromas, juicy plum & cherry; & Zinfandel for raspberry & subtle black pepper spice. Rhiannon, the Celtic goddess of inspiration, is an homage to our family's Welsh roots. Enjoy this wine w/ your favorite meat dishes or hearty pasta, w/ cheeses or rich chocolate desserts.

Many of the vines are over 40 years old. These 'old vines' give wine of deep color, concentrated flavors as well as more body & structure. The 2009 Old Vine Zinfandel has rich, dark fruit characteristics & plenty of spice. Enjoy w/ grilled lamb chops, braised short ribs & your favorites of the barbecue!
