Get the moist brisket and St. Louis ribs. You cannot go wrong! A plus and friendly staff. If you tell them it's your first time they let you sample the goods!
Our group from Wisconsin visited; great service, shout outs as a welcome, and some of the best bar-b-q we've ever eaten. Get cream corn as one of your sides. When in Austin again, we'll be back!
Everything we got was delicious! The cream corn and moist brisket were especially good. The staff was the best of any Texas BBQ joint we have been to yet!
Cream corn...yum! I knew this place was on the top 10 Bar B Q list and can see why. Great service, atmosphere, & bar b q.. Winner if the Malcolm Baldridge Award...bug said!
One of the best BBQ experiences in the area is, yes, in a gas station. Order some extra moist brisket, some sausage, and some turkey and slather it all in some Rudy's sauce.
Great Texas BBQ - visiting from Australia we were given a full explanation and tasting of food on offer , before we ordered - Delicious Brisket ( Moist ) and Cream Corn mmmmmmm do yourself a favor !
If it is your first time going, tell them and they will let you try everything before you order. No matter what you choose, you have to get the cream corn.
This is a must-go in Austin. Our cashier Shaq may have been the nicest man I've ever met. And don't forget to wash your hands in the hand wash machine.
Consistanly one of the best BBQ places around! My fave is the brisket extra leas and lots of black. Cream corn and beans are great too. It would be nice to have more seating with A/C.
1/2 pound brisket... extra lean is awesome, but if you don't mind the fat, then go for cutter's choice... and get some creamed corn behind the counter!
Great BBQ for a gas station....CountyLine is better but being from the north any BBQ is better than what we have... Nice people though very friendly. I with the stop...for sure!
I've tried just about all of Austin's BBQ, and trust me, if you can get here, it's the BEST. Go "Cutter's Choice" and St. Louis style Ribs with Beans. Buy a bottle of "Sause" to go!
Order a half pound of anything, then ask for a loaf of bread. Explain you eat one piece of meat per bread and theyll look at you funny then give you enough bread to feed you all week. The end...
