- Literally my favorite place to visit around the holidays. They also have a sister pizza place down a few blocks!
- Kiwi WangAugust 23, 2017The veg is definitely the star here from their rooftop garden. Octopus salume is so unique and always a treat!
- HarryJune 1, 2015Cozy place, very tastefully decorated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. $40 wine list is also very well received.
- Caroline McGurkNovember 17, 2012Best charred brussel sprouts & caesar salad! So fresh & out of this world. That's coming from someone that usually loves hearty meat & chix dishes... usually not a fan of promoting veggies and salads!
- Debby ButlienApril 28, 2022Friendly bartender so feel welcome to have solo lunch at the bar. Great lunch special, any salad & pasta for $24. Big portions so take home leftovers!
- Roberto SerriniFebruary 24, 2014This place is a GEM! Chef Moses brings delicious to the table everytime, with perfect ambiance as a companion. I asked if we could get in his kitchen. He said yes;) http://vimeo.com/serrini/rosemarys
- Amelie POctober 23, 2014Shared a truffle and cheese focaccia, a fall salad, a squash pasta and an olive oil cake. Portions were small but rich, and the food quite simple. Although the place is beautiful, it is quite noisy.
- Rachel RMay 26, 2015Does not take reservations, but is worth the wait. Spend the wait time drinking on their beautiful rooftop; dishes are seasoned with homemade herbs grown in Rosemary's rooftop garden.
- Josephine SonSeptember 4, 2012Beautiful space & lovely service but be prepared to wait. $40 flat rate bottles of wine. Must have foods: foccaccia, octopus salami, olive oil cake! Don't forget to check out the rooftop farm!
- Eileen SuttonJune 12, 2013Carlos Suarez's super-popular West Village Italian restaurant offers things like eggs Benedict, eggs with spicy tomato sauce, and smoked salmon on focaccia. It's well worth the wait.
- Foccacia is great, but the eggplant caponata is divine. Hold on the bread and save your carbs for pasta
- Jennifer YuMarch 5, 2019Spacious, aesthetic place in the West Village. Reasonably priced and great place for groups.
- Wade is a genius! I was first introduced to his delicious pasta at PASTA bar in Phoenix. You can't go wrong here. Order the Brussels sprouts, chitarra and carbonara
- Ana Maria VillarOctober 27, 2014Truffles!! This focaccia was amazing! The place is beautiful but the staff is not that friendly... But it's worth while going there!
- RisaSeptember 21, 2012Grub Street off-menu dish: Linguine alla Herbe. "They've still got at least one secret dish: a plate of linguine and ricotta finished with a garden's worth of herbs from the trattoria's rooftop."
- sarkisMarch 10, 2013Don't let the wait time scare you. Snacks + drinks at the bar while you wait. Start with the Foccacia Di Recco. End with chocolate-hazelnut semifreddo. ($40 flat rate for bottles of wine is clutch)
- Mary MNovember 25, 2012Share the verdure & salad and order own freshly made pasta. Loved the cavatelli with oxtail Dont forget to cap with cialino which is espesso in a dark chocolate filled ice cream cone
- The space is beautiful and everything on the menu is delicious. Very reasonably priced too. Wait times are a little unpredictable but tend to be shorter than quoted. The Rosemary focaccia is my fave!
- EmilyDecember 20, 2016This was a very unexpected find. Fantastic food and ambience. Everything we tried was good but the pork shank (for two) really stood out.
- Lani LopezMay 14, 2016I went two weeks ago and it was simply amazing from the taste of the food to the beautiful little garden they have in the rooftop😍

- Kiyeon YoonSeptember 7, 2014Yea, the ambiance is cozy and romantic, but like many of the places in the West Village, it's not quite worth the hype. :( Nice selection of fixed price wines though.
- Jason ESeptember 1, 2014Fabulous farm to table spot..I recommend passing on the entrees and enjoying any of the wonderful pastas, starters, etc..an amazing meal!

- killerpotatoMay 16, 2014Rosemary's on weekday mornings is a revelation. Good for breakfast meetings. Get Rosemary's Breakfast ($25 for coffee, juice, eggs and stuff, pastry).
- The focaccia is spectacular and all their pastas are stellar. But if you an order one thing here, it has to be the octopus. So so good.

- Emely PerezNovember 21, 2015Food here is absolutely delicious. I had the carbonara. If you have a small party you can just walk in. They take reservations for parties of 5 and up.
- Leisha MagsisiSeptember 10, 2015Brunch is very limited to egg dishes. Pastas are delicious! Very comfortable atmosphere! Sit outside on a nice day.
- Order the Garden Martini (vodka, st. germain, lemon, cucumber, mint) — goes down east, maybe too easy 🍸
- Betsy MicklemJuly 21, 2018Farm fresh food with excellent service. It’s a nice space but LOUD!!! And they only serve wine and very limited beer We loved the food.
- Donald KorohSeptember 3, 2012It's a little loud, but the food is mouth watering. If you go with a party of 3 try and score one of the tables by the wall. Best seats in the house as they are quiet enough to carry a conversation.
- AmberMay 15, 2017Pretty space with rooftop veg garden. Reasonable portion sizes for pasta. Roasted balsamic Brussels sprouts are great!
- Conrad Greiner-BechertApril 18, 2018The birthday brunch I had here was everything I had hoped for. Pricey, and worth it! Definitely reserve in advance.
- Nitzan BJanuary 19, 2022Restaurant week was so worth what you're getting! Even the simple salad was incredible
- Edlin ChoiJune 9, 2012Can't wait to see what this place becomes. Solid opening night. Rooftop farm still in infancy. Expecting big things. Olechiette w housemade sausage was amazing. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Kathleen CorlessAugust 13, 2015The atmosphere is incredible. Good burrata, fish, lamb and great tiramisu. Skip the olive oil cake- super sugary and gross.
- Alexandra TimsMay 7, 2013Delicious food and a great ambiance! All wines are $40 for a bottle or $10 for a glass and there is a rooftop garden so there is lots of fresh veggies! Yum!
- A beautiful space with lots of natural light. Good food and service. They have a rooftop herb garden.
- Rob AtkinsonMay 17, 2016Busy but a nice atmosphere. Orecchiete was on point. More of a neighborhood spot than worth a trip but still great
- Tom IgoeApril 21, 2017Really nice comfortable place to have dinner and conversation. Love eating at the bar there.
- Vanessa FerragutAugust 14, 2015One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. They buy local and their rooftop garden is amazing. (Ask for a look-see!)
- $40 flat rate bottles, great small apps (try the homemade mozzarella) but the vibe is why you come. Don't forget to check out the roof garden
- John ASeptember 7, 2014Terrific food and atmosphere, solid wine list, top place to come after work or lively weekday dinner with friends.
- Mike FriedmanAugust 2, 2015Etsy-Italian for trendy villagers and girls gossiping over prosecco. Solid cheese selection, Caprese Focaccia is perfect.
- Alejandro M. FloresSeptember 27, 2015Beautiful venue with nice atmosphere. What I liked here was the simplicity and taste of all the ingredients.
- Wade VNovember 6, 2016The 2 hour wait is worth it. The foccasia, the cantonelli, and the beer can chicken were all amazing.
- Natalie RayJuly 31, 2013How can you go wrong with Presecco on tap? Also, the linguine with clams and chili peppers was amazing. Still thinking about it...Mmmmm.
