A rare oasis in midtown. Their free wifi is blazing fast even with dozens of people on it. If you look up "hospitality" in wikipedia, there should be an image of Roger Smith's staff. Very impressive.- Great views from the penthouse of this cozy new england style hotel right in the heart of Manhattan. All 9th floor rooms have renovated bathrooms.

Linda MattosSeptember 2, 2012Tired & weary travelers with a messed up reservation that couldn't be rectified due to a full house. Why not always leave an empty room for error due to the reservation staff. No turn down service.
There is no other hotel I would loiter in all of New York City. Grab a drink at Lily's and watch as everyone knows your name. #Cheers

Kevin CliftonOctober 16, 2019Terrible Hotel. Didn't give me the Suite I paid for. Didn't credit me for the smaller room. Charged me an additional $100 for what I was told were complimentary apples. I would not recommend!
