The Botana Grande and the Street Tacos were awesome! The street sauce is delicious and spicy hot. But I give this place a 5+ stars because they allowed us to bring our dog. Outstanding service!!❤️❤️❤️
Some people complain just to hear themselves do it. I'm not one of those folks. The enchiladas de pollo con mole was pretty good. It was not as spicy as I like but still very good. Thumbs up!
Rio Rio had me @ jalapeñomarg! Server offered to make one when asked if they had something spicy. Appreciate the great service & that they have veg options - not easy to find on the Riverwalk. Love!
Great enchiladas, beef and chicken tacos. Tortilla soup on a chilly day is the best. Iced down buckets of beer in their Naked Iguana Lounge are a great Riverwalk value!
Look for coupons in all of the visitor pamphlets. Sit outside overlooking the river. Great date place. Very good tacos. Large drink selection and beer on tap.
gotta tell you - you could do a lot worse. The margaritas were awesome and we ordered the special for two - it would have easily fed four people and I am a healthy eater. The platter was cooked to per
I looked at the tips and thought it may be people who are overly critical, but the food is overpriced for what you get. Save the headache and head for great Mexican food in the mercado
Poor food and drinks. Wouldn't recommend or eat here again. Chips were a bag of tostitos, queso was melted white velveeta. Quesadilla had no flavor. Strawberry daiquiri tastes like ice water.
Typical River Walk dining -- good people watching; nice selection of over-priced drinks; bland, over-priced Mexican food that'll hook plenty of tourists but attract few local regulars.
Only thing good here is the drinks...food wasn't great. Scarfed it down because I was that hungry but chips and salsa are an extra $1.99. No free refills. Everything seemed so dirty
The waitress was awful, the food was cold, and the experience was overall terrible. By time the "frozen" margaritas arrived, they were watered down and warm. Do not come to this place!
This place was home to my absolute worst dining experience ever...hands down. Yes there is no wait but why do you think that is? This place truly is staying open from over flow of other restaurants.
This is where the San Antonio River Walk turns up the heat on Mexican food.Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner or late-night tacos, Rio Rio Cantina will indulge your cravingswith a fiesta of flavors...
