You have probably heard of the angels' share, where a certain amount of whisky is lost due to evaporation. The amount lost in Scotland is around 2%, in India the rate of evaporation is 16%! it is because of India's 'greedy angels' that Amrut rarely age their single malt whiskies for longer than 4 years. This release however, was aged for 8 whole year
