The veal picatta was awesome as was my husband's marsala. We did get salad and wonderful bread, so it was a great meal. We would love to go back when we don't feel so rushed.
My 15 year old son and I stopped in before going to the Theatre and we were not disappointed. My Lobster Ravioli's were perfect and my son loved his fettuccine. Will definitely go again.
We had no idea what part of town we were in and checked our phone and saw the intended restaurant was 10 minutes away! Thank you again for fitting us in despite your very busy Saturday night!
Service was efficient. Our table had the fillet of cod, Scottish salmon and the chicken parmigiana. Everything was delicious!!! Had the apple crisp for desert. Yummy. Highly recommend that.
This place is very nice. The owner is usually on site and she watches everything. The food is pretty good- kinda basic Italian food but good. I sat at the bar and bartender took care of me.
We came in during such a busy time. The wait time was minimal, the staff extremely friendly, and the food came out hot! This place amazing and is my new favorite restaurant!
Food was excellent! A little to get our food, but everything came out good. Very pleased. The lobster ravioli was filled with lobster and the sauce was great. My sister got the linguine
Bravo Franco's, located downtown in the cultural district, offers great Italian meals and a decent wine selection. Great place to go before and/or after a show.
It looks so fancy from the window but once you walk in you'll find that you are treated like family. The hostess and bartender were so welcoming and gave us the utmost attention!
My wife and I meet 4 friends there for dinner and we had very good service the food was great. The only bad part was the weather and that was not their fault.
Love this place The owner is very friendly and the food is delicious..I recommend this place to everyone...The atmosphere is beautiful...nice friendly staff too...
While the exterior looked very fancy, I have never felt more welcomed at a downtown restaurant. Our bartender was attentive both with his drink suggestions and friendly interactions.
The eggplant over pasta with fresh mozzarella was good. The salads and bread were very fresh and the homemade balsamic was delicious. I would go back again.
I am a frequent visitor to Peter Allen's restaurant. I have been for years and the service, food, atmosphere and entire dining experience is always beyond wonderful.
Some years ago I discovered Bravo Franco quite by chance--a theatre outing brought me to Pittsburgh without dinner plans and as I walked down Penn Ave., the view from the restaurant window beckoned.
The food was great, but....... There wre only three of us and we came at 5 pm so we would have plenty of time to eat and then see Hamilton! For only three of us and early, so the place was very empty.
Special shout to our server, for great service and attitude even though she probably wanted to be on her way out. Will definitely plan to return for a more leisurely paced meal.
We were greeted immediately by the gracious host. Will definitely plan to return for a more leisurely paced meal that includes the Original Franco salad.
