Such a lot of great places here. The variety in food options alone is impressive. Gets busy but understandably so. Great for lunch, and they have benches to sit on. The brownies from Konditor are good

Old-timers (pre-2006) will know the current site looks nothing like the original Old Spitalfields Market. It's cleaned up tremendously and now surrounded by high-end shops. Good or bad - you decide!
Taberna de mercado is pretty ace. Also, bleecker street street burger has my heart, and it should have yours too. Try no peak times if poss as it's very touristy!
You'll find some brilliant handmade stuff here. Look out for the card guy. He makes the most fantastic cards, also the Jewellery stalls here are fantastic! You're missing out if you haven't been.
Really nice map stall which I spent a while at. The stall-holder has more in stock than are on display, and some are not too expensive at all (under ยฃ20).
So many food options! Some stalls accept card payment. There are also few cash machines at the market. Good place for lunch all year round. They have benches and tables + heaters in winter.
Love this place! Great for lunch, coffee and dessert on weekdays. On Thursdays there is an antiquemarket, with beautiful objects and materials. Also, the stores are amazing!
Market selling everything from clothes to food to artwork. The market is full of cutting-edge fashion boutiques. THU - Antiques day, FRI - clothes/art, & WKD - a bit of everything
Want something unique? Head here & support local talent...not the usual ho him market. Great eateries & rooftop bars nearby as well. Superb on Sunday :)
A large market with a variety of booths selling interesting items of arts, clothes and accessories, surrounded by restaurants and street food trucks under a glass roof

U can find nice handmade stuff there, some clothes made by young designers, unusual jewels. Actually market works on the week, but weekends are better time to visit it...
Great for what it is. Don't expect a flea market meets good court so much as a mini-mall meets popular restaurants. There's a Lululemon for goodness sake.
The market is now open from Tuesday and even if it has become more commercial, you can still find some little treasures (expecially jewelry) and lovely people to welcome you.
The old 'Old Spitalfields Market' was much better, but with gentrification, the market has undergone a further transformation. Still, it is buzzing on a daily basis with an assortment of shops.
Two cash machines in close proximity but only one is free. The one near the toilets, Teasmith, etc charges. Cross to the other side and there is a free ATM between giraffe cafe and the wine shop.
