Just about the best coffee in Manhattan. Definite best in East Village

C NishiJune 5, 2010Iced latte and extreme air conditioning can't be beat on hot days. Almond croissant is good too.- Be prepared to wait for anything other than coffee. Soy latte is so worth the wait.
- Not a lot of options on the block. Pop in for something on the run.
Didn't charge me for my espresso bc I was buying beans. Damn good.
great coffee. their almond cookie with raspberry in the middle is a must-try!

Just east of Ave C, this shop uses an Alphabet City Blend custom roasted by Chicago-based Intelligentsia. All of Ninth Street’s espresso drinks use three times the regular quantity of beans for a single shot, resulting in increased natural oils and a luxurious espresso with nutty hints of caramel.
