- Tickets are $6 before 6pm everyday. And because it's a small theater, it's not hard to take in a second showing on a good day. The first time I visited there, I saw Real Steel. I love that place alot
- Chris SteeleJanuary 12, 2017If only there were more movie theaters like this on the Far North Side. It's a bona-fide second-run house the likes of which you don't usually find outside college towns. Or nostalgic Italian films.
- Very lovely and informative staff. It’s so nice to have a theater in the neighborhood that is not expensive.
- Jordan RomeroJuly 13, 2015I've been living in Rogers Park for 2 1/2 to 3 years and I've never gone to any other movie theater since I first moved here...
- Jac CavalcanteJune 8, 2014New way that Walt Disney's legacy found to stop all crappy world of being happily ever after w boring charming princes and classic mean villains. I really like this but it can became fashionable.
- First run movies at great prices. Full stocked bar and concession with great prices. What more can you ask for?
- Time Out Chicago KidsJanuary 13, 2012If you can't do without popcorn, the New 400 serves it old-fashioned, with real butter. It also offers a dozen popcorn toppings, including Cajun, ranch, jalapeno, caramel and apple cinnamon.
- They should really get child booster seats like the other big theaters. After all they always play kid friendly movies, but my child has a hard time watching the movie. It's a nice & cheap place tho
- James LangstonAugust 10, 2014Not fancy, but perfect. Real butter for popcorn and excellent prices for admission. Dates are great here!
- Time Out ChicagoJune 4, 2012A small, friendly theatre with a full bar, showing all the new releases. What more could you ask for?

- Jimmy DeveryMarch 4, 2016Great little neighborhood theater. Go during the day for free movie posters.
- People are great. Awesome little place for movies. Cheaper than the big theaters.
- SaraSeptember 13, 2014Definitely a small theater. Nothing fancy. Building is old. But a cute theater to grab a movie. Great location :)
- Katie JonesSeptember 2, 2013Beautiful theatre- first time at theatre- friendly staff. Will certainly return.
- Amazing deal for first run movies in a nice, no-frills kind of setting. Don't forget your student ID.
- William GlesenerApril 6, 2015Cheap tickets, pretty good selection of movies, and has a bar. Not the best aesthetically, but it is great for the price.
- Jake SmithApril 14, 2013$6.00 for a 3D matinee movie is a deal. My tip is for you to make sure they can actually show the movie.
- Jeff RyanJuly 19, 2015Don't expect great comfortable seats or awesome sound. This place is old and tiny
- Eric ZiglerOctober 2, 2010If you're going to see the premiere of a movie that you've been looking forward to, this isn't your place — the quality of the theatre isn't all that great. However, for a typical movie, it's perfect.
- Cheapest first-run movies in all of Chicagoland! Renovated recently too.
- Best place for midnight showing of new movies.....xoxoxoxo
- As of September 21, 2012, they have digital screens and the price is now $8.50. Still the cheapest around
- Kimy PinlacSeptember 28, 2013Stale ass popcorn, smallest theater I've ever been too. But they serve liquor tho..
- alex mMarch 21, 2014Theatre 4 is the worst. I would rather dump all of their hot butter on my nuts than sit in that theatre.
- Crystal N.April 8, 2012Crappy sound, small theaters BUT they got boozer and it's across the street from my house
- great low-key spot to watch the latest flick with a beer. unbeatable.
