    We are open from 10 AM to 7:30 PM until Sunday, September 2 (with certain exceptions). After that, we will close at 5:30 PM.

    This museum is very hands on...so I would recommend bringing hand sanitizer. This way you can interact with the exhibits without getting sick.

    Make sure to stop and see Stubby the war hero dog on the 3rd floor (WW I). Disappointed that his coat and medals are not on display.

    The American Presidency and Lincoln Areas are so well done it's crazy. Make sure you go all the way upstairs, this is where pop culture truly lives.

    Great and informative exhibitions! However, avoid the cafeteria unless you are dog and tired and cant move an inch to grab a hotdog outside...the food is definitely not worth its price.

    Take the free tour available evey hour to get an idea what you'd like to focus on. Way too much to appreciate in one day. Very interesting and fun for all ages!

    We found the Kermit puppet but despite signs on the wall saying that there was a full Muppets exhibit, we couldn't find it anywhere.

    About half of the museum is closed, getting ready for exhibits that open next year. It was much better in the past and will probably be much better in the future, but right now it's just okay.

    The hat Lincoln was wearing when he was shot is with the presidential stuff & not the civil war Lincoln stuff. I kept looking for it in the wrong area!
