You can see our new exhibition of Julia Child's Kitchen until September 3. The kitchen will re-open on November 20, 2012 as part of "FOOD: Transforming the American Table, 1950-2000."
Take the free tour available evey hour to get an idea what you'd like to focus on. Way too much to appreciate in one day. Very interesting and fun for all ages!
About half of the museum is closed, getting ready for exhibits that open next year. It was much better in the past and will probably be much better in the future, but right now it's just okay.

Great and informative exhibitions! However, avoid the cafeteria unless you are dog and tired and cant move an inch to grab a hotdog outside...the food is definitely not worth its price.
The hat Lincoln was wearing when he was shot is with the presidential stuff & not the civil war Lincoln stuff. I kept looking for it in the wrong area!
