Built in 1924, Marquette Hall first served as the Science Building. The four-story structure was renamed Marquette Hall in 1976. Listen on Wednesdays at noon for mini-concerts on the 48-bell carillon.
On Sept. 4, 1964, the Beatles visited Milwaukee for a concert, staying at the Coach House Motor Inn, now Mashuda Hall. The Fab Four supposedly stayed somewhere on the seventh floor.

The Alumni Memorial Union (AMU) is Marquette University's gathering place and was named to honor all alumni. The five-level, $15 million union opened on Aug. 20, 1990, replacing the 1953 Brooks Union.
