Folks here are awesome. My sons were learning how to collect old American coins, staff took the time to educate them. Gave them a solid base to start from.

Tomorrow (July 20) is a Free Saturday at the Money Museum. Every 3rd Saturday of the month visit the Money Museum at no cost!

Only $4 for students and $5 general admission. Mostly American/Civil War history upstairs but there's a great introduction and history in the lower exhibit. I recommend starting there.

The museum is debuting an interactive area for kids, and will present monthly free classes beginning in October 2012. www.money.org/KidsZone
