Food is honestly overrated. “Ceci e pepe” is watery & sweet; ribs special are large & juicy in a cheap way; & the wagyu crudo is boring & forgettable. Odd fusion. Service is accommodating but slow.
Beef crudo: A++, mackerel, black bass: Bs, chitarra: C. Service was ok but waiters are too enthusiastic about average dishes. Seating is, like too many new restos these days, quite uncomfortable.
Lives up to what I've come to expect from David Chang joints. Acceptable mediocrity wrapped up nicely in a hype package. I really wanted to like this place. I just can't.
