Group Exercise
With so many classes to choose from, you’re certain to find the class that’s right for you. Our group classes, including zumba, pilates, yoga, and cycling, are tiered by level of difficulty. Each class offers a different benefit, so whether you are trying to burn calories, shape your core, tone up, build muscle or a little bit of everything, our certified instructors will be there to push and encourage you. Most importantly, in each class, you’ll find a motivating environment.
Originally named contrology by the inventor of the method, Joseph pilates, pilates is a body conditioning discipline focused on the core muscles of the abdomen and back, postural control, and flexibility. whether you are a devout practitioner of pilates or a beginner interested in learning the technique, midtown offers a variety of classes from beginner mat pilates to pilates stretch express and even yogalates, a unique blend of yoga and mat pilates which integrates studio equipment and props to improve balance, core stability, flexibility and strength. pilates reformer classes and private lessons are also available.
Strength Training
For those interested in building muscle, burning fat and improving overall health, midtown’s strength-training classes are a great way to do so in a motivating environment. From group power, a 60-minute barbell program that strengthens all of your major muscles with simple athletic moves, to power sculpt, a tone and sculpt class that utilizes the ballet bar and light weights, midtown has a class targeted to your goals.
Core Conditioning
Strengthen your core with one of our many core-focused classes. From ab blast and core express to group centergy, which combines yoga and pilates movements focusing on strength, flexibility, balance and core, our classes will whip your abs into shape.
Yoga
Improve your strength, flexibility, and endurance, and with every breath connect with your body. Our yoga classes are designed for different difficulty levels, so whether you are looking for an intense full-body workout with power yoga, a relaxing rejuvenating experience with restorative yoga or something in between, such as yoga fusion, there is a class for you.
Zumba
Rallying music and dance enthusiasts of all backgrounds and ages, zumba classes feel more like a party than a workout. this low-impact cardio dance class fuses a variety of Latin rhythms with easy-to-follow dance steps for a fun, high-energy workout.
Cardio
Keep your cardiovascular exercise varied and interesting with midtown’s cardio classes. Midtown offers both pure cardio classes, such as cardio blast, and cardio classes featuring elements of strength training such as cardio strength, martial arts and kick boxing such as group kick box, and dance moves, such as fit dance. Challenge yourself by changing up your routine or attending your favorites in a motivating and fun environment.

Mind & Body: Pilates Reformer Studio
Exercise the entire body from your core to your outer extremities in the pilates reformer studio. Focus on your balance, control, strength and flexibility by utilizing springs, cables, and a moving carriage.
Group Classes
Start a pilates group with your friends or join a group class formed by the club. Groups are limited to 3-6 people so you will be sure to receive personal attention for maximum results.
Private and Semi-Private Sessions

The kinesis exercise areas and trainers utilize resistance training to start with the core, and work outward.
