It's so hot here everyone wears a bikini or thong. But they travel with 3 giant, overstuffed bags per person. What is everyone carrying?!??

If you're a divorce lawyer, you should DEFINITELY call your clients and pace the gate area while you yell into the phone that they've "given her too much already." It will be fun for everyone.

Sign up for TSA pre screening on your airline website. There is never a line, I don't have to take off shoes or remove the laptop. It saves me easily 20 minutes waiting in line for regular screening.

If your path takes you through Terminal H, be sure to check out the colorful Carybé Murals. And for those traveling via Concourse D, note that there is a Skytrain that shuttles passengers around.

If you are flying late at night and/or your flight is delayed, don't forget to eat something early: the restaurants and cafés close at some point and you might get stuck and hungry.

American has two nice Admirals Clubs in D. D15 is reasonably big. The one in high Ds is better. Private bath stalls, good bars & lots of outlets. Bring your own WiFi - TMibile always overloaded.

If you're flying American, get there early. This is a hub for the airline and lots of inexperienced vacation travelers make the security lines very slow moving.

Worse airport in the USA. The soft carpeting makes wheeling luggage feel like you’re dragging it through sand, and bathroom stalls are barely big enough to accommodate a suitcase and close the door.

Tip 1) if you're being picked up, it's easier to be picked up in departures (upstairs). Tip 2) cell phone coverage is bad (especially at bag claim)... Arrange your pickup location beforehand.
