Give yourself plenty of time, security is always slow here.
Terminal B desperately needs a true, expedited security line for First Class travelers.

Have an early flight? MCO's Security lanes will not fully open until around 4:30am. Be prepared to squeeze though security with all the employees trying to get to work.

Put all toy swords in ckecked baggage, so u wont lose it to TSA...
David LounsburyFebruary 10, 2017A truly awful airport. Low end chains for airside food, tired seating areas, no way to transfer between terminals.
TSA directed us to a "stroller" line because of my daughters stroller...was MUCH faster than standing in line!
Baggage claim is under remodel. Make sure to read the signs
Darren DegiorgioAugust 10, 2019Nothing is good here. Prepare for problems, poor public address systems, ineffective security lines and general disorganisation. Good luck at passport control, it will take hours and NO PHONES!
Get here two hours early, check in takes 30 mins AT LEAST, and you have to go through security another 30 minutes. Then wait for a moneral to get to the gate.
If you out of Orlando regularly, get a Clear card. I never take more than 5 minutes at security.
Not all TSA lines have scanners for your phone. Just saw one guy get sent to the back of the only line with a scanner. And the lines are long.....
Don't waste your time checking in online for Airtran. You have to wait in line with everyone else just to drop off a bag.
The Dunkin Donuts at gates 90-99 is doughnut-free. They may want to rethink their moniker.
Free coffee the first time u check into Keys News and Gifts. Pretty cool.
Three cheers for flight crews that let us use our pda's during delays!

Giovanni OliverFebruary 3, 2015Prepare for weak cell phone signal. The free Wi-Fi barely works. Food selection is ok in JB terminal. Better food out before TSA.
Mears Transportation is around $35 each way. But pack a lunch at painfully slow counter and shuttle stand. Cheaper than a cab to Hilton Bonnet Creek but no way I'm using Mears back to MCO.
