You're not chased off from the drop off/pick up area as much at night as you are during the day. When being dropped off during the day, learn how to tuck and roll.
TSA Orlando. I paid for the opportunity to go through pre check. So when that line is than. The regular one we notice. Because they start taking off shoes and belts also taking out little baggies
Leave pletty of time to get to you gate, and there's shops everywhere don't worry about going t the first shops you see,the place is that big you you don't need to
I was through my check in process with a breeze! I wish that they were all like that! I was part of the express check in. Didn't have to take off my shoes or go through.
When going through TSA lines get in the right most lanes. They filter to the same queue that goes to the right so the left lanes get jobbed while all the right ones keep filtering in before you!
Taxi stand gives you a slip with the cab company and car number of your cab. Therefore, if you forget something in the cab you know which one you were in. Nice little touch to their customer service!
A lot of people don't realize the Cell lot is a waiting area for Departing & Arriving flights! You don't have to drive around in circles while waiting for your flyer to show up.
In the morning! Always opt out. TSA has no clue about ANYTHING the body scanners do or don't do- plus, you'll be checked for GPR- how cool is that? And remember- If you see something- Say something.
Take EVERYTHING out of your pockets going through the scanners. That includes taking off all your jewelry, belt, and footwear. Stop holding up the line cause you can't figure out why you're beeping.
Better than expert traveler, better than Clear- TSA PreCheck. Went through in 25 seconds, waited for friends to take 38 mins through the expert line... Shoes, belt on. No body scanner. Liquids in bag
The airport is clean and easy to traverse; however, not very petfriendly. If traveling with a service animal, the only pet relief areas are outside of security which requires multiple re-screenings.
If you're flying Delta, the Delta Skyclub is right before gate 70. Its spacious and provides all the amenities you'll need as you wait for your flight. Use the Amex Platinum card to get access.
Airport security is a disaster here, mostly due to the high number of families with their insane amounts of luggage. Once you’re past that point, the food and shopping selections are decent.
Getting here early will serve you well, and if at all possible get a morning flight, at 5:00am you'll breeze right through clearance making your travel that much more relaxing.
Be prepared to wait in line for security check- loooooooong lines!! Remember that all connections and traffic from the Parks pass through MCO 🛬🛫✈️ be patient. Be polite.
Okay, let's just call a spade a spade...there are NOT that many bars in this airport. That means that big Outback that you see as you approach the big split is the most likely place you'll get a drink
I adore everything about this airport except the tourists.... But I guess it wouldn't be here without them. Don't miss One Flew South in terminal E if you have a layover!
If you travel out of here often, it's totally worth it to join CLEAR (www.clearme.com). Expedites security tremendously. I usually make it from check-in to my gate in 10-15 minutes.
PRO TIP: you cannot travel between the two sections of Terminal B without going through security again. Terminal B is split into two different security zones (Gates 1-59 and Gates 70-129) #poorlayout.
Security can be a nightmare. Thank goodness for TSA pre-check and CLEAR lanes you can sign up for. I live here and travel often so it's worth the cost.
Do give yourself extra time & mindful breathing w/ the extra surly & self important MCO TSA staff who mostly seem to have been rejected from DMVs and post offices for coarseness and pomposity...
If you are going to A terminal the elite or A+ security line is on the right side to the right of clear. First line on the left side of the right security lines. It's a bit shorter.
Enjoy the magic of Orlando, Disney or no Disney at the Orlando International Airport. The food court houses a 3,000-gallon aquarium with 100+ sea critters.
3.4 oz or less in any liquid or aersol product. Pack toiletries at the top of your luggage in case you are asked to pull it out. Bring Patience with you.
Very big, gates are separated from the checkin area by a train. Checkin area is a kind of mess, gates area is cool. Give extra time to pass the checkin and security area.
Used Uber cab and Saved more than 200% on average in the parks and resorts areas over 3 days. Uber is more responsive, the cars are nicer, and the drivers are great!
The security lines are rediculous! Speak up out loud if you have a flight to catch. You might get a nice traveler to let you cut in, like me! Guards offer no extra help in speeding up this process.
Use the WiFi - it's good. Oh, and to those moaning about expert lines - there are signs saying "use the right line" but no indication of which line is which! (I went in expert line by accident)
The priority security line is tucked away. Make sure to find it if you have status as it will save you so much time. This airport gas the busiest security line II have ever seen in the morning.
