Pretty clean, worth the money, & located in the heart of CBD. If you plan to stay for more than 1 week (especially for WHV holder), it's a good place to start, save money while you try to find a job.

As someone who previously bad-mouthed the MAZE Backpackers (totally justified at the time), I'd like to say now since the new Manager Nick took over, this place has been completely turned around.

Good location and the kitchen area is also spacious. Provide free city map to the customers.

Found a cockroach in our room...dirty and old place..vs a lot a free activityand food. Make your choice

Rooms are dirty and didn't have a pleasant odor upon arriving. Building is old and not well kept.
