Ask for a room on the east side of the pyramid. The west facing rooms get hot as balls in the afternoon.

Christopher AnnettJuly 21, 2013You will be very disappointed, in this day of technology where everything is wireless, all the Luxor can offer is wired access in your room.
Don't wait in line at the Starbucks near the casino and front desk. There's a third Starbucks on the Atrium level with much shorter lines.
Had to add, stayed here on my honeymoon and wedding night. There's also an all day buffet for $29.99 can't beat that!
Suites aren't bad, but it's looking pretty grim downstairs lately while it's being refurbished. Stayed here last year, currently staying in mandalay which is miles better. Tacos and tequila is gr8 tho
I wish they played "Egypt, Egypt" by Egyptian Lover over here. One of the first to go all thematic with their hotel.
Ask for Jesus the Manager. He is awesome and great, very nice and professional!

The Grandview timeshare people are SERIOUS here. You'll get tempted w/tix for shows, free lunch etc - but be warned! They're relentless!

Tony XerriJanuary 30, 2013My room 11148 was humid and uncomfortable. I guess you can categorize the overall ambiance as "ghetto fabulous" with everyone trying to sell you on something. Stick to the Aria if you're in Vegas.
More buffet downstairs has a yummy selection of food and it's great value getting an all day pass

Keep in mind this hotel is showing it's age...room 4224 needs to run the tub full blast for about 5 minutes before you get hot water.

Check out Fantasy. The girls are hot and the comedian that comes out is hilarious. They pick someone from the audience to come on stage. When I was there, they had already pre selected todd. Staged

Situated in between The Luxor & The Excalibur hotels.. this parking lot is closer to the guest rooms, instead of parking in the back parkade which feels like a marathon to get to.
There's a Best Buy Express machine for those of you who *must* have something.
