TSA here are possibly the most incompetent of any airport in the US. 2hrs prior for domestic, 4 for international. Lines are terrible and move at a snails' pace.

Phobia of flying and need to drink massive amounts of alcohol pre-flight? Buy a plastic flask works everytime- Take a Fly Away bus to Union Station to avoid driving through the crazy traffic.

If you are lucky enough to be selected for a full body scan. Moan loudly and tell them good it feels.
Do Not Leave Your Belongings Unattended. Do Not Transport Any Items For Someone You Do Not Know. If Someone Approaches You About Transporting An Item, Contact The Police Immediately.
Instead of fancy signs and lights outside they should invest in more food options.

Dmitry IsaevOctober 22, 2012The slowest customs in the world that I've ever seen. You need at least three hours to proceed from international terminal to domestic departures if you have connected flight.
Smile often, it makes the busy staff think that you understand what is going on.
Change your flight and go to Hawaii. If going to Hawaii change it for longer :)
Best food and beer selection: Comanches. Sit at the bar and order a drink and your dinner
United ckeckin line is horrbile. Get here 90 min early or you will have to rebook
There is no place but McDonalds open and it is only 11:30 pm seriously a red eye without a cocktail is going to be interesting.
