Hot dogs done right. With a griddle-cooked Koegel Meats dog doused in thin beanless chili, mustard, and onions, Leo’s offers a tasty alternative. It won’t hurt if we take just one bite, right?

Contrary to popular belief, Coney Island style hot dogs originated in Detroit, not NY. CI in NY is an amusement park. Wiki or Google it. Loose burger w/chili and cheese rocks.

Great Coneys! Came in with a big take-out order for my family and when my order was ready, they hailed me a taxi on Southport and helped me get in comfortably. Great place!

Ignore Sara ans come have a coney dog. Some people have no idea about the complexities of opening a restaurant in Chicago. It is worth the wait and tastes the same as the coneys I grew with.

Officially, no takeout is only for the first week but if you show up during non peak hours they're happy to comply. Can't wait for my burger! Great addition to the neighborhood.

Definitely more expensive than Leo's in Detroit, but I'm just happy to find a bit of home here in Chi-town. I heart their coney dogs!

The service is unbelievable! Great people. I'm sorry but Coney Island is in NY not Detriot and these hotdogs aren't even close. Maybe they should make an effort to have an authentic Coney Dog.

Closed to seating in the dining room at 7:15 + no takeout + taking 8 months to open = mega fail! They've got nothing on the Detroit coney I grew up with!
