very much a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and, by far, the best mexican restaurant in carroll gardens. handmade tortillas, still warm, with a bit of salt, are perfect. will definitely be back.

Lee HarringtonAugust 15, 2013La Tambor is described as an apetizer, but it made for a great vegetarian meal for one. Also, the watermelon-berry-basil juice was a fantastic surprise.
You really can't miss here. The salsa sampler is great for a light snack, and the slow-stewed beef is transcendental.
