A new breakfast bar opened here in Icon Village and it is called Whole & Hearty. It was opened on 9th September 2014.
This is an artisan bakery that sells an extensive range of gourmet and vegan breads. The breads are baked fresh daily and are ALL ORGANIC. The other products (cakes, cookies and muffins) aren't vegan.
The Almost Gluten-Free Brownies are great too, dense & gooey but a little healthier than the norm, with brown rice flour, brown sugar, olive oil & a sea salt surprise.
I don't understand why they mix olive oil with canola oil like in the rosemary fonut. I'm concerned about canola oil bcoz 90% of the canola oil sold in the US are GMO, known to cause health problems.
