Its been 4 yrs since my last visit but in my opinion its still the best place 4 Appams. Made fresh, they're the right mix of crispy & soft in the centre. Pile on Fish Sothi, Pol, Katta & Seeni sambol!
Ordered Aliya experience and top up famous jafna crab. Highlight of the dish goes to the crab and apam dessert. Definitely a must to order. Not advisable to share the Apam because just too irresistible
Authentic Ceylonese dishes like Fish Sothi, Chix Varuvel, Pineapple Curry and 4 types of Appams with katta sambal, seeni sambal, pol sambal, karupillay sambal). Love the Lychee Asam Boi drinks.
Gr8 Sri Lankan cuisine in cosy environment. Dishes r well flavoured n spiced in a very balanced manner. Try d papadum basket with 4 unique dips for starters. The apom is a gr8 way to finish off a meal
Seafood lamprais- Amazing, it is wrapped in banana leaf & baked in the oven, open the banana leaf packet, inhale the delicious aroma of the assortment of the spices embracing and infusing the rice.
A delightful place for a tasty sri lankan dinner. Service is excellent and the food is amazing. Be adventurous and try the fish curry. Couple it with some roti.
Had the curry chicken, onion fried tiger prawn, baked seafood rice (like fried rice), eggplant and parsleysalad (like kerabu). All were nice but nothing extraordinary.
Crab curry was super. Chicken curry was burned but they said thats how it's cooked! They charged for pappadam n its condiments RM17! Price is crazy - not coming here unless I win a lottery!
The egg hoppers are a must-have. Though the Colombo sauce crabs are to die for, unfortunately the crab's been dead too long. Meat was very mushy and watery. Maybe an off day.
