One of the best late night bak kut teh's in kepong area. Starts only at 10pm, and closes around 3 (sometimes earlier). Do try the meat with the big bone.
Fishballs and tofu skin here are good.. also, portioning is rather fair for the price paid. Both clear soup and tom yam are not bad.
Very homely wantan noodles. Portioning is rather good and small is enough if it's for breakfast. Can order a bowl of sui kao soup to complement your noodles.
Go for tarbush express! Lamb briyani is awesome. Rm15 may sound a tad expensive at first glance, but the portion makes up for it! Served with tomatoes and lettuce.
Things are cheap but variety limited. Still, most things are available and fresh produce is still in good shape. Prices are hard to beat. But only cash transactions are allowed.
Best place for imported goods and cuts of meat. Pricing cheaper than tong hing (but slightly different range). Great stop if you're preparing for baking or barbecue.
