- Tina HilllSeptember 3, 2016Food was great. Loved the assorted kebab plate. Cushions cld use a little refurbishing. Visible Burn holes 😁. Get the window. Seat for people watching while eating
- Ashita MehtaMay 14, 2011Based on a foursquare user's suggestion we tried the rose hookah and it was a great decision. We ordered a 'special hookah' with rose and guava, fresh orange fruits and a wine base. Had a great time!
- Christopher McCabeJune 20, 2013I found that the food was excellent, My daughter, who spent a tour in Afganistan with the Army, said the food was excellent and just like she had in Afganistan. We arent smokers so no hookah for us.
- JohannaOctober 10, 2017Vegetarians: Try the shireen palow. The orange, almonds, saffron, and pistachios in the rice are comforting and delicious.
- Try the Rose hookah with a red wine base or the Guava with a milk base. You can choose either water, milk, white or red wine as a base for your hookah. Experiment with different flavors!
- Stephanie RussoJune 26, 2013Smoke outside, mix mint shisha with any fruit you like and let the waitress choose your meal. Fantastic time
- joahnnaSeptember 21, 2013If you want mint tea, be sure to specify "Moroccan mint tea" otherwise you get a commercial tea bag. 😅 Shisha is good, mint tea is very good!
- MeliJanuary 5, 2014They have hookah made from fresh fruits like apple, pineapple, orange, etc. Great ambiance and service. Minimum of 1 drink required.
- Gabriela BMarch 13, 2014The red sauce is addictive! Love the sample platter, and the traditional Afghan dinner for two.
- Miss VannetteJuly 20, 2013Cozy Afghan restaurant with inexpensive hookah and affordable food. Food is good. Service is okay.
- Ashita MehtaMay 14, 2011Try the Chai Kiss cocktail if you like almond, cardamom spices. It has a sake base mixed with milk. All of us loved it!
- Jade EonyMay 28, 2014$18 hookah but mostly cheap drinks. Pomegranate was so-so, will try different flavor next time. Nice chilled out atmosphere.
- Rell ReneéFebruary 10, 2014Nice hookah bar until they almost made our 5th guest sit at a separate table because of their 4 person maximum hookah. 5th guest wasn't going to smoke, but was eating they gave us a hard time.
- Eddie EddieNovember 20, 2012Ordered the Morgh Kabab and regretted it. At the start it was great until I found several raw pieces of chicken. Stick to just ordering hookah.
- Try rose hookah with milk base, it's the best. Have it with a bottle of Pinot Noir or Yakut.
- Marlena BarthaDecember 31, 2011If you're broke and want to smoke their $18 hookah, keep in mind you must order a drink. A bottle of water is $1.50 and that's the cheapest thing.
- Ariel VieraAugust 7, 2014The hookah here isn't good. They use quick light coals and shisha burns out quick. However the ambience is nice.
- DaveFebruary 21, 2015There's a three-person maximum per hookah, and a one-drink minimum per person. Dumb.
- Emma HansMarch 16, 2014The strawberry hookah was really harsh. They even gave us a new one but it still wasn't good. When we paid they gave us back our credit card along with someone else's credit card... not going again.
- Yummy hookah :) grab the table by the window, it's cozy!!
- Great spot for conversations & chilling with friends!
- always my first stop in NYC. excellent food, casbah decor, hookas, bottles of wine for $20.
- Try the pomegranate and lemon/lime hookah together!
- Guava milk hookah! I don't think it's on the menu but it's definitely worth a try.
- Lillian CheungJuly 13, 2014Minimum charge sucks - 1 hookah per 3 people and everyone has to get a drink.
- Brandon BroomeAugust 9, 2013Poor service and attitude from waitstaff. Additionally, they do not honor FourSquare specials. I will never return.
