Kevin Grant: Buy a 6 pack and some weed and hang out in the park for some excellent people watching and general chilling. You're sitting on grass so bring something to sit on if you don't like grass.
Kevin Grant: Next door to Almanac, they provide malts for all kinds of beers you might be familiar with. They serve a lot of those beers there. Also they have food if you get there early enough.
Kevin Grant: Great brewery if you wanna go for a short little drive outside of SF. They serve snacks and great flight of beer. Great place to stop at if you try to catch the sunset at grizzly peak (requires car)
