Awesome beer selection, close to Dolores park. Come here maybe after hanging out in the park for a bit.
Buy a 6 pack and some weed and hang out in the park for some excellent people watching and general chilling. You're sitting on grass so bring something to sit on if you don't like grass.
A good place to have a drink or 2 if you're in the area. Some cool taxidermy stuff on the walls

Next door to Almanac, they provide malts for all kinds of beers you might be familiar with. They serve a lot of those beers there. Also they have food if you get there early enough.

Cool underground cocktail bar in downtown SF. Has minimal dress code (no athletic wear iirc). Sometimes live music.
Really cool and casual thai restaurant. The food is great and they serve really fun tiki-esque drinks.
Really wonderful gastropub, huge beer selection and great menu. Original location is in Denmark, they opened this one in SF, and they just opened a new one in NYC.
If you have a car, this is an awesome place to go and catch the sunset. It's really special, hopefully Karl the fog doesn't ruin your view.
The bar in the alamo drafthouse. Even if you don't catch a movie, this is in an area you might be hanging out in and the cocktails are good!
There's a lot of locations in SF - this SF coffee shop is a real treat. They have a unique way of divvying up the baristas to prepare your order. I always get the "Iced Mint Mojito"
No specific place here, but this little neighborhood is great to stroll through and has a ton of history as the origin of hippie counterculture
Similar to the MoMA in NY, this is a really lovely modern art museum. Has some great outdoor space as well
