Kansas StormSeptember 28, 2013I wish I had more than 1 evening in Portland...and that I didn't have a cold, because I would love to try the Reuben. Instead I had a really good cup of tomato soup and chicken salad sandwich.
There's a damn good chance they'll bring you the wrong order (chronically flakey waiters-- see the other tips) but when they finally do bring you your food, it'll be f**king amazing.

Matthew NeidichSeptember 6, 2011Great bialy. I like to stop here in the morning and get a garlic one with olive cream cheese on top before work fom the to go counter. Good stuff for sure...great gravlax and rugelach, too.
What the fuck! The pastrami somehow got even better this year as they switched from a brisket cut to "beef plate" -- like pork belly but different.

The cheese blintzes covered in berries are absolutely incredible. Get them for desert after you finish breakfast!
