Pastrami hash with eggs on top was what I was recommended when I asked for something to fill me up for the day. It was delicious and totally kept me full for a long time!
I wish I had more than 1 evening in Portland...and that I didn't have a cold, because I would love to try the Reuben. Instead I had a really good cup of tomato soup and chicken salad sandwich.
There's a damn good chance they'll bring you the wrong order (chronically flakey waiters-- see the other tips) but when they finally do bring you your food, it'll be f**king amazing.
Great bialy. I like to stop here in the morning and get a garlic one with olive cream cheese on top before work fom the to go counter. Good stuff for sure...great gravlax and rugelach, too.
